M.A.B. Bég prize in Physics
The Emerging Nations Science Foundation is instituting a yearly prize of US $5,000 to honor (the late) Professor Mirza A. Baqi Bég in recognition of his outstanding contribution to physics. The M.A.B. Bég Prize in Physics will be awarded every year for outstanding research achievements in any area of experimental or theoretical physics. It is to be awarded to a young researcher of age not more than 40 years and affiliated to an institution in Asia or Africa.
Applicants must be nominated by at least two senior physicists in their area of research. In addition to the nomination form, applicants must submit a General Information Application Form and include all required documentation as well as a list of publications, and the three most relevant papers published in the last 5 years.

Salimuzzaman Siddiqui prize in Chemistry
The Emerging Nations Science Foundation is instituting a yearly prize consisting of US $5,000 to honour (the late) Professor Salimuzzaman Siddiqui and to commemorate his outstanding contribution to chemistry and science education in Pakistan. The first Salimuzzaman Siddiqui Prize in chemical sciences will be awarded on April 14, 2010, for outstanding research achievement in any area of experimental or theoretical chemistry. It is to be awarded to a young researcher of age not more than 40 years and working anywhere in Asia and Africa.
Nominations are invited from individual scientists, science academies, research institutions, universities, and other similar organizations involved in research and education. All relevant documents and nomination forms must reach the ENSF at least six months before the award date of the year. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
